Larry grew up in Kentucky, spending his most formative years on a small farm in Boone County. After graduating from Boone County High School in 1966, he attended United Electronics Institue (UEI), studying electronics. After graduation from UEI, he worked briefly as a switchman for Cincinnati Suburban Bell Telephone. until he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1969.

During his stint in the Navy, Larry served aboard the USS Will Rogers (SSBN 659) as a Fire Control Technician, maintaining and operating the Polaris and Posiedon Missile Weapons System. After serving seven years with the Navy he re-entered civilian life and worked at Control Data Corporation, supporting the Navy's traning systems for the Fleet Ballistic Missile Weapons Systems.

In 1985 Larry entered the Real Estate world and became a full time licensed real estate agent. He is currently associated with EXIT Heritage Realty in Haymarket, Virginia. Larry has been a REALTOR and member of the Prince William Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors since 1985. To broaden his real estate expertise and knowledge he began appraiser training with KAZ Appraisal in January of 2000 and has continued as a member of the KAZ team since obtaining his Real Estate Appraisers license in May of 2006.

While Larry enjoys his careers in Real Estate Sales and Appraising, he loves spending time and being involved with his two sons, three daughters and his twelve grand children. They are a wonderful assortment of interests and personalities.
